Pony Adventure – A Family Day with Our Friendly Ponies

Spend a relaxed day getting to know our gentle ponies and experience what it's like to care for them together as a family.

The adventure begins by meeting our friendly ponies. Together we'll groom them, clean their hooves, braid their manes and prepare them for the day's activities. You'll also learn how to saddle a pony and harness it to a carriage, while discovering how to handle ponies safely and respectfully.

Once the ponies are ready, we'll set off together on a gentle walk through the beautiful countryside to our campfire site. There we'll prepare traditional Finnish pancakes (muurinpohjaletut) over an open fire and enjoy them with warm bilberry juice while the ponies relax and graze nearby.

The youngest members of the family can enjoy a short pony ride (maximum rider weight 40 kg), while older children and adults can experience a short carriage ride with one of our ponies.

Before saying goodbye, we'll walk the ponies back to their pasture or stable, depending on the season. Together we'll unharness or unsaddle them and make sure they're comfortable before they return to their daily routine.

This experience is all about spending quality time together, learning how to care for animals and enjoying the peaceful rhythm of life on a real family farm. Suitable for the whole family, and no previous experience with ponies is needed.

The experience takes place partly outdoors. Please dress according to the weather and wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking.
The walk with the ponies follows easy paths and is suitable for most visitors.
As with all activities involving animals, the programme may be adjusted according to the ponies' wellbeing, weather conditions or other circumstances to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
