Midnight Sun Campfire Evening

2 hours

Easy

Experience the magic of a summer evening in Finnish Lapland around an open fire on a real reindeer farm.

Join us in our traditional kota as we prepare Finnish campfire treats together. We'll bake traditional Finnish pancakes (muurinpohjaletut), roast reindeer sausages over the fire and bake stick buns (tikkupulla), while enjoying warm drinks and the relaxed atmosphere of the Arctic summer.

Throughout the evening, we'll share stories about reindeer herding, local history, nature and everyday life in Lapland. You'll also have the opportunity to meet our free-ranging reindeer as they wander around the farm in their own time and on their own terms.

Together we'll slow down and enjoy the unique light of the Midnight Sun, listen to birdsong and the sounds of nature, observe the surrounding wildlife and simply relax in the peaceful atmosphere of the Arctic.

You'll also have the chance to try suopunginheitto, the traditional skill of throwing a reindeer lasso used by reindeer herders for generations.

Suitable for all ages.
