Handicraft Workshop – Create Your Own Lappish Souvenir

2 hours

Easy

Embark on a Lappish adventure - craft your own reindeer antler keepsake, meet gentle reindeer, and savor warm berry juice with cinnamon buns in a cozy kota, all surrounded by the wild spirit of Finnish Lapland!

Discover traditional Lappish handicrafts and create your own unique souvenir using natural materials from our reindeer farm.

During this hands-on workshop, you'll make small handcrafted items such as keyrings, jewellery or other keepsakes using naturally shed reindeer antler, reindeer leather and other locally sourced natural materials. Guided by your instructor, you'll learn about the traditional uses of these materials and the role they have played in everyday life in Lapland for generations.

The experience also includes meeting and feeding our reindeer, giving you the opportunity to spend time with these gentle animals before or after your workshop.

To complete your visit, we'll enjoy warm berry juice and freshly baked cinnamon buns together in the cosy atmosphere of our traditional kota.

The workshop is suitable for all ages, and no previous crafting experience is needed. Your handmade creation will be a meaningful reminder of your visit to our reindeer farm and your time in Finnish Lapland.
